Small Palms

Today i'll discuss about the topic.....What do you understand from the topic? Well it refers to the kids or normal term called children. Today i went to the orphanage somewhere in Taman Merdeka, Ipoh with 13 other people. Of course or team prepared well enough to visit the orphanage. Well that orphanage isnt that big because the number of inmates also not that big. Well, it consists of 10-15 kids and about 5-10 teenagers. Ofcourse i joined the kids' part [though i looked like kids,but i'm not]. A few of them seems to be isolating themselves from our team. But somehow, in the end we managed to get them talk and participate with us. When i look into their innocent eyes, they seem to be sad or something somehow, though they pretended to be happy. Their palms are so small, yet cute but somehow i felt sad when i touched their hands. Its not like i'm acting like a noble who dislikes them, but i felt their sadness and sympathy too. Many brothers and sisters [same family] reside in the orphanage too. Ofcourse i did enjoy my day with them, the funny thing is they love visitor to give them a ride on the shoulders. I chatted and played with them for whole afternoon. I ask them a question, "What do you do here when you're leisure?" some answered, study, reading story books, doing homework and watching TV...The next question i asked them, "What is your ambition?" ofcourse some too young they will answer superman, power ranger all stuff, but some says i don't knw. From the orphanage, i noticed that they are lack of discipline and manners. I wonder do their "foster parents" do really guide them well. But i can entirely blame the fosters parents because they have to look after 30++ inmates and have to handle their live too. I think they really did a good job by maintaining the orphanage and so on, however it can be improved ^^.  In the evening, when i'm piggy-bag'ing a kid, he asked me "Are you going to come next week?" I answered "Sorry, can't make it next week...But i hold his shoulders and said "study hard and we might meet next time or next year" Then he wanted to cry...But i say don't worry, i'll visit you in future.

Moral behind this visitation:
1. Always feel grateful of what you are and what you have.
2. No matter who you are, you still play an important in life to the universe.
3. Live for today, tomorrow and future....
